Eurovision

I should have posted yesterday, but anyway...today's post is about Eurovision, the famous European song contest. The same that introduced ABBA to the world in 1974.

The show is hosted in English but incredibly they need to translate everything to French, because...well, you know how french people are.
It is cool to watch but every year it's the same: most of the women trying to look sexy, most of the guys trying to look gay and most of the songs sounding the same, europop. Boring.

Two of the songs caught my attention for being a bit different than the rest: the one from Portugal and the one from Norway. I didn't really like these songs, but I appreciated the change brought by them to the competition.

In the end Norway won the first place and I am sure it happened partly because of the singer, Alexander Rybak, being "so cute" (he looks like one of those magical creatures from enchanted forrests) .

Here is the video of the winning song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaSshKURz7g
So now my readers who don't live in Europe can get a little bit more updated about what happens around here. See you !

Things we only see in movies

I am not even talking about jumping from a motorbike into a plane but the small things we end up not paying attention to. Here are some of them, things that would hardly happen in real life:

-Hanging up the phone without saying "bye": You can find this one in almost every movie.

Characters talk on the phone and simply hang up! No "kiss", "hugs", "see you", "bye"! Ahh and the line is never busy (and people always answer the phone super fast).

-Characters never lock their cars.

-Succesfull characters are most of the time lawyers, architects or they work with media (PR, journalists etc).

-Stupid female sadness: This refers to when the male character don't tell the female character that he is a multi millionaire and she gets sad because of the fact he wasn't sincere about it from the beginning...seriously...I have even seen a movie where the girl gets to know the guy is the prince of Denmark and she gets all angry "Why didn't you tell me??!!". Give me a break.

I'll come up with more. Have a nice weekend!

Too hard!

I heard that Toshiba , alledgely, came up with a promotion that can take you to Japan! To win the tickets is simple: check the picture and answer all the following questions:
1)Who is sleepy?
2) Who has just woken up?
3) Who are the twins?
4) Who is angry?
5) Who is happy?

Good luck!

Today's news: Guy goes to jail for taking pics in dressing room

He hid the camera in his sneakers (pic) and tried to take pictures of naked girls in a store while they were trying clothes. One girl noticed what was going on and called the police.

In times of technologic revolution this is a good idea for modern shoes isn't it? He should patent it.
