Trolleys are a Swede's best friend

There is a place in Sweden where every day many different people come from different places just to be able to be there for some hours spending their money. This holy place is called Ullared.

The special thing about Ullared is that you can find whatever you want and pay half of what you would normally pay in any Swedish store. The place is huge and some people even print maps to make sure they are gonna check every single bit of the store (the big one is called Gekås). If you ask around, many Swedes will say "Aff how can you stand that place? So many people!", but this is not totally true. Most of the time it is quite ok, but if you go around Christmas, New Year etc then it's a problem. Been there, done that.

Here is today's list of the things you will probably see or experience if you ever visit Ullared in one of those dates:

-Lines: Yes, I have been twice in huge lines just to get into the big store. It was 3 degrees and raining, still the line was super duper long.

-Trolleys traffic jams: sometimes you will find yourself lost in a sea of trolleys. Best thing to do is to leave it there and come back later with the stuff you will grab around.

-Trolley?: If you do the thing above, don't forget to pay great attention to the place you're leaving your trolley at or you won't be able to find it again!

-Trolley rage: people in Sweden hate to say "excuse me". They will simply push you with their trolleys to make their way through. Don't worry, after a while you feel ok with doing the same to them.

-Busses: you won't miss them at the parking lot. They come even from Norway.

-Tram: don't get surprised if you see one around. It takes people from the stores to the hotel and vice versa. Yes, they have a hotel only for people who can't buy everything they want in only one day.

-Semi dressed people: as you can imagine, the changing rooms are always full and it doesn't prevent women from trying clothes anyway.

Well, that's it for now. Make sure to go early so you get to see everything. And prepare for feeling like you ran a marathon when you come back home.
